PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Custom gas tank does away with the stock fuel gauge and utilizes two right handed screw bungs to accept late style gas caps. Fuel capacity is 5.1 gallons.

Order gas caps separately. The tank uses a stock style FXDWG dash console. Tank is not for fuel injected models. Please test fitment before painting. Tank weld seams may require filler to meet your individual requirements. Do not grind or sand the seams as this may cause leaks. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean condition and seal. This will help to stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check petcock opening making sure the petcock can be easily installed. Petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation. of petcock. The rear tunnel width is 2-3/4 inch and the front is 3 inch/ It is 20-3/4 inch from the center of the mounting holes. *NOTE: UPS may consider this part as packaged inchoversize inch for shipment as compared to the actual weight which will result in higher shipping costs.
