Offered new to the market is a generator end cover for the splitdorf DU-7 generator.some background on my business first.
Mudfish Motorcycle Company has teamed up with a local prototype shop to manufacture new parts for pre 1936 Harley,Indian and Henderson bikes.My partners Bill and Brian have an extensive background in the world of prototypes and modeling.Their clients include Lucas industries(star Wars),The Tesla Foundation,Northrup Grumman,private inventors as well as Moon Express(recently seen on the Today Show 8/18/2017).they handle all phases of manufacturing and together we can make almost any motorcycle piece.I am a senior AMCA judge with over 40 years of restoration experience and have done many winner circle bikes.Together we are making parts for such clients as Replicant metals,Harbor Vintage.Steve Lippoldt at Iron Horse racing,Jon Neuman at Sagebrush Cycle,as well as many others.We can do large production runs or individual pieces.If you want to buy from us in quantity,the price will be reduced accordingly..Check out some of our other parts on Pricetronic.You can contact me through the Pricetronic part or call Mudfish Motorcycle Company with Questions at 631-682-5973.
This splitdorf cover is made exactly as the original from steel.We also have the Du-5 without the side oil hole,The Du-5 with the side oil hole,.They fit perfectly as original and will pass all AMCA judging for your bike.I have also DU-5-H covers. The Du-7 was offered around 1927(see patent date),and is correct on Excelsior,Henderson Deluxe,Ace,Indian Ace,Indian Scout/Prince,Early Henderson KJ,and Cleveland. This first run of covers was 20 pieces.If they do well I will run off another batch,but I am very busy and do not know when that will happen.
THE 5 IN THE DU-5 IN THE PICTURE LOOKS DISTORTED..REST ASSURED IT IS NOT THE ZOOM FEATURE ON EBAY IS NOT WORKING DUE TO A GLITCH ON EBAY'S AND .BUT THEY SAY IT WILL BE BACK SOON.THE 5 IS NICE AND CRISP. I'm back at it and gonna go hard,so keep an eye out for lotsa parts for Harley jd,vl,45,knucklehead,panhead,Shovelhead,Flh,sportster and more.Also throwing in some other vintage parts for indian,excelsior,etc. Shipping on this item will be free.Overseas bidders are welcome to bid on all my items.NY residents must pay sales tax on my items.I collect sales tax.
