RARE VINTAGE BEEHIVE BAKELITE SHIFT KNOB w/ THERMOMETER, HARLEY,

Up for sale, one RARE vintage, antique butterscotch Beehive bakelite shift knob with a working thermometer. It registers within a few degrees (+ or -) of being accurate. Not bad for 60 or more years old !!! The thermometer has printed on it 'THERMOMETER' below the numbers and 'MADE IN U.S.A.' across the bottom. The thermometer has a mineral crystal lens with a chrome bezel. The lens has scratches, but you can read the thermometer just fine and the chrome isn't perfect, but it's not bad (see photos). The shape of the knob fits the hand very nicely. It has a 3/8-24 threaded brass adapter installed, and will screw onto a stock Harley hand-shift lever. It's called a 'Beehive' knob because the profile resembles a beehive. No breaks or cracks on the bakelite or lens.
