As some if not most all of you know, Suzuki did a horrible job placing
the voltage regulator rectifier right in between the radiator and
engine. Placing it there exposes the rectifier to excessive amounts of
heat causing them go out, burn up or even catch fire.
(I myself, had my rectifier go out and boil a brand new battery in 4 days.)
Frustrated that no one sold a kit that easily relocated the rectifier to a more cooler and appropriate location, I fabricated this bracket for each and every 2006/2007 GSXR600/750 owner to buy and install with ease and save that newly purchased MOSFET rectifier or preserve your OEM one.
My patent pending design is a direct bolt on kit utilizing the same mounting holes in the frame from which the original OEM rectifier bracket is mounted. It fits flush behind the fairing and no modifications are required.
Each kit includes all necessary hardware and is applicable for use with either the factory OEM rectifier regulators or aftermarket MOSFET rectifiers. ** No modification to your factory wiring harnesses. No additional wires are needed. New pictures have been added to illustrate fitment** Kit includes:
1 rectifier bracket powder coated flat black
2 black nylon barrel spacers
2 M6 mounting bolts to mount bracket to bike frame (USE LOCTITE)
2 M6 flanged button head screws to mount rectifier to bracket (match OEM fairing screws
)
2 rubber grommets to be placed between the bracket and rectifier for shock absorption
2 nylon locking nuts to secure rectifier mounting bolts to bracket
1 small square piece of the female side of Velcro (this is to put on your frame where one of the nuts that attaches the rectifier to the bracket will SLIGHTLY be touching; it will help prevent any scratches.) *This kit will not work with some no-cut frame sliders.
